December 21, 2011 - SKF recently signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) to expand its co-operation with Luoyang Bearing Senior Technical School, which is the largest bearing technical school in China.
The agreement offers possible internship to over 60 students at SKF every year and there will be an SKF-named class in Luoyang Bearing Technical School. Moreover, SKF will offer scholarships, organise training courses and give recruitment priority to these students.
"Being connected with the knowledge engineering company, we see a prosperous tomorrow of the school and promised future for our students. With SKF's involvement and support, we are hoping to become a world-class bearing technical school," said Mr. Liu Hui, the school's Principal.
Erik Nelander, President of SKF China, said at the signing ceremony, "SKF is doing this as part of SKF Care. The SPA marks the commitment of our community care. We are confident the school will provide us good technical people, and together we will bring significant value to our customers here."
