Minebea Co., Ltd. hereby announces the status of its own shares repurchased pursuant to Article 156 of the Company Law in accordance with Section 3 of Article 165 of the Law, as resolved on May 17, 2011 pursuant to Article 370 of the Law (resolution by documents instead of resolution by board meetings).

1. Period of repurchase: From May 23, 2011 to May 31, 2011 (Contract basis)

2. Type of shares repurchased: Shares of common stock of Minebea Co., Ltd.

3. Aggregate number of shares repurchased: 1,750,000 shares

4. Aggregate amount of repurchase: 712,257,000 yen

5. Method of repurchase: Market purchases through a trust bank on the Tokyo Stock Exchange
