Kaman Corp. (NASDAQ-GS:KAMN) today announced the appointment of Richard C. Forsberg to Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, reporting to Candace A. Clark, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.
"Rick has been a valued member of the company for many years, having worked effectively to meet the evolving business needs of the Aerospace Segment, while also providing focus on legal compliance. His background and long history with the company make him especially qualified for his new role. In his corporate role, Forsberg will continue to support the Aerospace segment's contracts and government compliance needs, but with a broader scope that will include all aspects of the company's operations. In addition, he will provide general legal counsel in support of Kaman's business activities.
Forsberg, 55, Vice President-Contract Management for the Kaman Aerospace Group, a role he will continue to serve, joined Kaman in 1986 after associations with Hamilton Standard and a local law firm. Since joining the company he has held a number of increasingly responsible positions at both Kaman Aerospace and Kaman Corporation. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and his Juris Doctor degree from New England Law - Boston. Rick, his wife Tina, and son Matthew are residents of Hebron, Conn.
