NRB Bearings announced a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 3.69 times to Rs 139.80 million from Rs 37.90 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter for the quarter jumped 46.34% to Rs 1,155.10 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 42.22% to Rs 1,157.10 million, when compared with the prior year period.
It reported earnings of Rs 1.44 a share during the quarter, registering 84.62% growth over previous year period.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.25, or 2.04%, to trade at Rs 62.60. The total volume of shares traded was 96,202 at the BSE.
