PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Royal Bearing Inc., a worldwide dealer in bearings for industrial and transportation applications of all types, has announced that it has purchased a 66,000 square foot warehouse facility in Metro Detroit (Livonia), Michigan, just two miles from Detroit’s city limits. The warehouse is in the commercial and industrial area and is just minutes from Detroit Metro International Airport.
“We are expanding our product line and inventory offering so the additional warehouse space was needed,” said Clarence Hopkins, President of Royal Bearing, “and we made the decision to purchase a warehouse facility in Livonia, in the midst of our customer base, to provide the fastest possible delivery times to our customers. Our expectation is for the Livonia facility to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2011.”
