Penske Automotive Group plans to buy a truck, spare parts and related services in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
Penske, based in Detroit, Michigan Bloomfield Hills beyond, said on Sunday that it had signed an agreement to buy Australia's Western Star Trucks Holdings Limited from Pacific Western Star Truck Sales of heavy and medium-duty trucks through independent dealers in their own name and the German MAN trucks and buses, which is majority-owned by Volkswagen, and Dennis Eagle, which makes waste collection vehicles. Western Star Truck brand is a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America.
Penske said it expects to pay about $ 20 billion business. It said the acquisition will reduce third-quarter results 2 cents per share. But does not include these costs, is expected to purchase annual earnings increased by 10 cents to 14 cents per share.
Penske sells new and used cars, there is no vehicle maintenance and repair.
