A traditional spring recovery in job creation can help reduce Germany's unemployment rate fell from 7.1% in May, 6.8% in the previous month.
Overall, the German Federal Labour Office said on Wednesday, in the past month, 2,937,000 people registered as unemployed, down 83,000.
Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate steady at 6.9%, in line with economists' expectations. However, the number of unemployed rose by 21,000 fell more than expected.
Relatively low unemployment rate in Germany, Europe's biggest economy, with the sky high levels, in contrast to other parts of the euro area.
Recent surveys show that the German economy picked up steam again, business confidence and consumer confidence. In the first quarter of this year, Germany grew by only 0.1 percent in the first quarter rates.
