High temperature bearing steel

Usually above 150 ℃  in the use of bearing called heat bearing. Because chrome bearing steel in the use of temperature is more than 150 ℃ ~ C, its hardness fell sharply, size is not stable, and lead to bearing doesn't work. So for the working temperature 150 ℃ ~  250 ℃ under the working conditions of the bearing, if the contractor and rolling body still choosing normal high carbon chromium bearing steel manufacturing, it must be on the bearing parts special tempering treatment, should be generally higher than 50 ℃ temperature under tempering. According to the above requirements tempering treatment after the bearing steel, can work under the temperature in normal use. But after tempering hardness declined, bearing life is reduced. When bearings working temperature higher than 250 ℃, it must use high temperature resistant bearing steel manufacturing.

High temperature bearing steel in addition to should have generally bearing steel performance , still should have certain high temperature hardness and high temperature resistance, high temperature contact fatigue strength, oxidation resistance, high temperature impact resistance properties and high temperature dimensional stability. Commonly used high temperature bearing steel are:

Molybdenum steel: Cr4M04V, Crl5M04, 9 Crl8Mo, Crl4M04;

Tungsten steel: W9Cr4V2Mo, W18Cr4V;

The tungsten molybdenum fasten: W6MoSCr4V2.

High temperature bearing steel W, Cr, V, Mo, etc can be formed under high temperature undissolved carbon, and in the tempering can exhalation dispersion distribution carbide, produce secondary sclerosis effect, make this kind of steel in certain temperatures are still has high hardness, wear resistance, strong antioxidant properties, high resistance to fatigue sex and dimensional stability. High temperature bearing steel among them with Cr4M04V and W18Cr4V is most commonly used.

For structure is complex, and need to take strong impact load bearing, can use high temperature seepage of carbon steel. 12 Cr2Ni3M05 is a kind of performance is good high temperature carburizing bearing steel, because of its low carbon content (around 0.15%), does not exist carbide uneven faults, annealing low hardness, cutting performance, has high toughness, forging quality is good, can increase the bearing parts than forging, be helpful for the service life of the bearings, carburizing can meet in temperature after 430-C the following conditions of use, and with good resistance to impact ability.

H10Cr4M04Ni4VA is the best performance of high temperature carburizing bearing steel, but the price is more expensive. When the use of bearing more than 500 ~ E temperature, choose high temperature resistant bearing steel has been difficult to meet its performance requirements, and should choose cobalt-based, nickel alloy with high temperature resistant materials or ceramic, etc.
High temperature bearing is mainly used for air jet engines, gas turbine, nuclear reactor system, X-ray tube tungsten plate, and the aircraft, the rockets, the spacecraft.
