Russia says Syria peace talks unlikely before October

Russia hopes Syria peace conference was held as soon as possible, but it is impossible to continue the first 10 months, because before there is a busy diplomatic schedule, a Russian diplomat said on Tuesday.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said that the so-called Geneva Conference, aimed at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad rebels and government together to prepare more talks are expected at the end of August.
"It (Peace Conference) is less likely to occur in September, because there are different activities, including" the minister this week at the UN General Assembly, "Gatilov told Interfax news agency.
"We happen as soon as possible, but we need to be realistic in the case, may affect the forum."
Russian and U.S. officials agreed last week, the long-delayed meeting as soon as possible, but no specific plans to bring the warring sides of the table.
Washington and Moscow, which has sold weapons to the Syrian government shielded Assad's condemnation and sanctions in the United Nations of the time, said that initially they would try to end the meeting.
But the specific date falling, partly because the rebels split and can not decide who represents them.
United Nations, the Arab League peace mediator Lakhdar Brahimi, who was in Geneva with senior U.S. and Russian officials held talks peace conference has been ruled out until August.
Assad has been added to Battlefield revenue, even if problems occur.
Gatilov said that Russia is still keen on the talks, Washington did not support a proposal that includes Iran.
