An inspirational journey through time: In the form of digital Motorsport Quartet, Schaeffler has invited enthusiasts to an entertaining stroll through the 25-year plus motorsport history of the internationally active automobile supplier. Thousands of users have already downloaded the complementary App and ‘gamble’ on their iPhones. To the delight of all Quartet fans, there is now an update: In the new multiplayer mode, you can now test your skills and go head-to-head with ‘real’ opponents. True to the motto: Shared fun is double the fun!
The Quartet App playing cards show 44 cars, with which Schaeffler partners have celebrated victories on the world’s race and rally tracks. The target is to use the technical data of the race and rally machines in such a way that you ‘steal’ your opponent’s cards. Now, with immediate effect, your opponent is no longer just the computer. With the new multiplayer mode option, you can now accept a rival’s challenge via the iPhone Bluetooth connection. In addition, the possibility exists to test your skills online against other players – be it with a friend or a casual acquaintance from the constantly growing circle of Schaeffler Quartet enthusiasts. Also new: a chat program and the opportunity to dub the game with a personally composed soundtrack.
