Wright Seal & Plastics was established from humble beginnings in 1987, and over the past 25 years, has grown into a leading manufacturer and supplier of mechanical fluid sealing and industrial products to a vast spectrum of industries.

From its inception, the company has been a forerunner in the supply, manufacture and distribution of asbestos-free products across its entire range. WSP has been used as a consultant for many local and off-shore developments and projects. Their Paarden Eiland premises in Cape Town, boasts facilities for product presentation and in-house customer training, as well as the presentation of new product launches.

WSP is a manufacturer and distributor of Klinger fluid sealing products including API rings and spiral wound gaskets, exchanger gaskets, graphite and non asbestos fiber gaskets, WSP also stocks a full range of Klinger Pump & Valve Gland Packings.

The company is also a distributor for AES Seal South Africa’s mechanical seals, Belzona polymeric coating and repair products, Labtecta bearing isolators and Super Bolt’s multi jack bolt tensioners. Other product ranges include specialized rubber products such as silicone sheeting and extruded profiles, viton rubber and other general rubber materials. Stainless steel, fabric and rubber bellows as well as insulation materials are also available.

The unique Merus Ring designed for combating internal pipe corrosion and scaling, as well as bacterial growth, is a simple and easily fitted devise that requires no power, pipe work or down time, and is a relatively new agency awarded to WSP for distribution throughout South Africa, and has taken off with great success, says Guy Sampson Klinger (Pty) Ltd acquired the full shareholding of Wright Seal & Plastics in 2006. This acquisition was viewed as a strategic move towards enhancing and strengthening Wright Seals existing range of products and services with those offered by the Klinger Group of Independent Companies internationally.

The extensive gasket factory comprises of both numerous hydraulic and CNC gasket cutters as well as CNC routers giving WSP the capacity to handle a large volume of various gasket requirements at one time.

Wright Seal also has a well equipped machine shop focusing on the design and manufacture of specialized engineering plastic products including PTFE bellows and sleeves, chemical gaskets, valve kits, wear plates, scrapers and bushings.
