The new SKF Thermal Camera TKTI 30 has been developed for use by technicians and thermographers, enabling users in many industries to quickly and easily find potentially troublesome hot spots.
With a high 76,800 pixel (320x240) infrared resolution and the ability to display thermal and visual images, or a fusion of both, users can easily view the results on the bright, sharp 3.5" screen. The high resolution capability gives detailed thermal images and can be used to detect faults on objects at far distances, such as power transmission lines.
Built-in features of the TKTI 30 includes: Four moveable cursors (with individual emissivity settings), cursor temperature difference display, automatic hot and cold spot display and laser sighting to mention just a few. For knowledgeable thermographers, powerful thermal analysis tools such as isotherms, temperature gradients and area analyses are available.
Intermittent fault conditions can often be difficult to detect, and many hours can be spent investigating them. Unlike many other cameras, just mount the TKTI 30 on a tripod and set to only save pictures, or sequences, when a user defined temperature alarm level is breached. This feature can help establish the intermittent fault conditions, when used in conjunction with other machine operating parameters.
With a compact, ergonomic and rugged design, the TKTI 30 can be used in most industrial environments, and the rechargeable power pack allows for five hours or more of use. To improve working practices, there is even the facility to annotate saved images, with both voice and text notes, for quick recall at a later time.
Supplied complete in a sturdy carrying case, the TKTI 30 contains just about everything needed to enjoy the benefits of thermography. Back in the office, the radiometric thermal and visual images can be transferred to a PC and processed using the powerful detailed analysis and professional report writing software suite included.
