Transmit the full power of SKF

SKF Xtra Power Belts are designed to deliver up to 40% more power than standard wrapped belts. By replacing existing belts with SKF Xtra Power Belts, they service life of applications can potentially be increased by up to 40%

At the first glance it might seem that SKF Power Belts are just ordinary belts but inside they exhibit extraordinary technology.

Tension members for the power belts are made of polyester to accommodate heavy tension loads with minimal elongation. A fiber filled compound above and below the tension members allows the belt to carry higher dynamic loads without compromising flexibility.

The cover fabric provides excellent wear and abrasion resistance while providing excellent bending strength. The SKF Xtra Power Belts are homogeneous and have coordinated integration of the belt, flank and pulley groove. They assist in reducing the pulley groove wear due to the optimized cover fabric.

They are oil and heat resistant and have up to an 97% drive efficiency. They offer one-shot tensions as there is no need to re-tension the belts after the initial run-in period. They have an improved smooth running behaviour, low vibration levels and good resistance to shock loads.

SKF Xtra Power Belts are suitable for all kinds of industrial applications and some agricultural machines.
