Please find an update of the operational status of the NSK Group outlined below. (as of March 22, 13:00)
All facilities at our Fukushima Plant have been restored completely, and plant operations at all sites of the NSK Group affected by the earthquake have been fully resumed. Operations are continuing as usual.
NSK is closely monitoring the situation.
All companies of the NSK Group are working at full strength to restore production to keep our commitment to our customers worldwide and assist in the quickest possible recovery of the areas affected by the earthquake.
Production Forecast:
Some production delay or stoppage will be expected due to rolling blackouts, published at short notice, and impacts on logistic services in Japan.
Establishment and Organization of the Earthquake Task Force
Immediately after the earthquake, NSK established the Earthquake Task Force.
The task force plays a key role to confirm the safety of all employees and their families, and is now working at full strength to restore production to our customers with emphasis on safety and quality assurance.

NSK have confirmed all NSK group employees’ safety with few exceptions.
NSK will continue the cooperation in reducing electricity usage by avoiding unnecessary billboards lighting and electrical equipments.
