In 2010, SKF introduced the first two products in its new range of infrared thermometers; the TKTL 10 and TKTL 20. This new SKF Infrared Thermometer range has now been extended by the introduction of its most advanced infrared thermometer; the TKTL 30.
"The TKTL 30 is a lightweight instrument for safely measuring temperatures at a distance. Operation is extremely user-friendly; simply aim, pull the trigger and the object temperature is shown on the display," states Steve Gething, SKF Business Development Manager RS.
Gething continues, "Furthermore, the TKTL 30 has an exceptionally wide infrared measuring range, high distance-to-spot ratio and dual laser sighting. Supplied with a temperature probe, the TKTL 30 can also be used for direct contact measuring applications."
"For professional maintenance technicians, the highly specified TKTL 30 will meet most needs. As a non-contact temperature measurement tool, using the TKTL 30 can help better evaluate the condition of running machinery, improve safety and reduce downtime. Typical applications include the inspection of bearing housings, HVAC inspections, and performing energy audits," concludes Gething.
