On April 28, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the preliminary results of its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review for certain ball bearings and parts from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the UK.
As a result of its administrative review covering May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009, the DOC preliminarily determined that sales have been made below normal value by certain companies subject to these reviews.

The DOC has also preliminarily determined that Myonic GmbH, a firm covered by the administrative review of the order on ball bearings from Germany, is the successor-in-interest to the pre-acquisition Myonic GmbH.
Furthermore, the DOC has rescinded the reviews for the following companies: SNR Roulements (France), RWG Frankenjura-Industrie (Germany), Flugwerklager GmbH (Germany), SNR Walzlager GmbH (Germany), Asahi Seiko Co. Ltd. (Japan), Nippon Pillow Block Co., Ltd. (Japan), Japanese Aero Engine Bearings Corporation (Japan).
The DOC also has announced its intent to revoke the duty order with respect to subject merchandise exported and/or sold by Barden/Schaeffler UK to the US as seen in the dumping margins in the table.
