Bloomfield helicopter and aerospace manufacturer Kaman Corp. in Bloomfield completed its purchase of Oklahoma oilfield equipment maker Allied Bearings Supply Co.
Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp. announced in February its agreement to acquire Allied Bearings, of Tulsa, Okla., for an undisclosed price.
Allied's annual sales are about $22 million. It has branch offices in Oklahoma City, Pryor, Ponca City, Ardmore and, Muskogee, Okla.; Fort Smith, Ark.; and Houston.
The acquisition of Allied provides a strong position in Oklahoma and Arkansas and increases Kaman's exposure to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries that Allied serves.
