Micromech has introduced the Isel range of linear guides as a low-cost shaft and roller solution.
These simple shafts and rollers are suitable for applications such as protective door guidance, traversing tables or cross tables.
Made with precision steel shafts and rollers, they are low noise, smooth running, backlash free and maintenance free.
The rollers are double-row angular ball bearings, hardened and dressed to 20mm in diameter, threaded hole M4 and supplied in packs of 10 pieces.
There are two guide rails - LFS 12-21 and LFS 12-22 - both of which are precision steel shafts measuring 12mm in diameter, 3m in length and hardened and dressed.
They are mounted from the bottom by M5 at 100mm spacing and the top by M4 screws, again at 100mm intervals.
The LFS12-22 is a double-shaft version, making it twist resistant.
The roller carriages are the same size, measuring 100 x 75 x 20mm, with four rollers and a T-Slot clamping surface.
The rollers are double spaced for the twin-rail version.
The system is supplied complete with the necessary fixing bolts.
