GGB, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, has appointed S&N LLC as its distributor for the area in and around Saint Petersburg, Russia. Based in Saint Petersburg, the company is a subsidiary of GGB’s distributor in Finland, Helsinki-based S&N Osakeyhtiö.

“Extending our relationship with S&N to Russia significantly strengthens our position in this important market, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors,” said Dr. Stefan Klages, vice president and general manager for GGB Europe.

S&N supplies Russian industry with a broad range of components, including bearings, belts, chains, cardan manufacturing, lubricants, chemicals, fastening systems, handles, hinges, latches, windshield wipers, tubing, fittings and valves, among others.
