Lares Research has introduced the UltraLite CX, a ceramic bearing MULTIflex-compatible high-speed handpiece.

The handpiece does not need lubrication, which saves time and money, and eliminates the risk of handpiece lubricants getting on the cavity prep and diminishing bond strength.

Two head sizes are available: compact (Model 557) and full size (Model 757).

It features ceramic bearings, whic extend bearing life. The company's proprietary Debris-Shield Bearing Shield System minimizes debris accumulation in the bearings.

Lares handpieces feature high cutting power, compact size, light weight, and an integrated fiberoptic handpiece lighting system. The UltraLite CX Handpiece has 360-degree swivel. Push-button bur changing provides added convenience.
