The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre will concurrently host four major technology fairs from December 10th to 13th 2008. ENERGY INDIA, focusing on efficient energy supply solutions is hosted in India for the first time along with MDA INDIA, an exhibition focusing on Motion, Drive and Automation, CeMAT INDIA, focusing on Material Handling and Intralogistics and IA INDIA, focusing on Process, Production and Building Automation.
More than 500 Companies from 18 countries are participating in these exhibitions. The exhibition covers an area of 20,000 Square Meters. The Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S.Yeddyurappa will inaugurate this major technology event at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre on 10th December 2008.
Two thirds of the participants in these exhibitions are International participants targeting the Indian market which is less affected by the global melt-down and shows considerable long term growth potential.
Elaborate security arrangements and convenient special bus services to pick up and drop visitors from different parts of the city are arranged by the organizers.
CeMAT INDIA is the International Trade Fair for Material Handling and Intralogistics. More than 150 exhibitors including 91 international exhibitors are participating in this exhibition. Product categories exhibited would include Mechanical Handling, Warehousing technology and Workshop equipment, Packaging and order picking equipment, Loading Technology, Entire system for Material Handling Technology, Warehouse Technology, Logistics, Traffic Engineering, Intralogistics System and Software, Logistics Services and Outsourcing. The response to CeMAT INDIA is expected to be very good as Indian logistics market is expected reach a total sales volume of 140 billion euros by 2015 according to the organisers.
MDA INDIA , the International Trade Fair for Motion, Drive Automation will be the showcase for the latest trends and technologies in Motion, Drive and Automation from across the globe. More than 230 exhibitors are participating in the MDA INDIA this time and 170 of them are from out side India. Since the application of power transmission and control technology and equipment spans across all the manufacturing industries the demand for this technology is slated to grow considerably in the next five years making India one of the most promising markets in the world. The product categories exhibited would cover Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Linear Motion Systems Gears, Electric Motors and Frequency Inverters, Motor Drives, Chain Transmissions, Belt Transmissions, Couplings and Brakes, Fasteners, Springs, Bearings, Floating Bearings, Rolling Bearings etc.
INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION INDIA is the International Trade Fair for Process Production Automation Industrial Building Automation. About 120 exhibitors are participating in the fair and 72 of them are International participants. The product categories displayed include Assembly and Handling Systems, Linear Positioning Systems, Robotics, Industrial Image processing systems, Control Systems, PLCs, SCADA, Sensors and Actuators, Industrial PCs, Communication Networks and Field Bus Systems, Embedded Systems, Measuring and test systems, industrial Automation Data capturing and Identification systems, Laser Technology, Automation Services and Industrial Building Automation Systems.
ENERGY INDIA is the International Trade Fair for Renewable Conventional Power Generation, Transmission Distribution. The product category on display includes Processing of fuels and Electrical Energy Generation, Energy Production Utilizing, Renewable and Future Primary Energy Sources, Electric Power Systems, Housings and Switch Cabinets for Electrical Switch Gear Systems, Distributing Systems, Measuring and Control equipments for Power Engineering, Combustion Engines, Sterling Engines, Gas Engineering and Water Technology, Technical Building Installations, Power supply, Water supply and energy management and Energy Services.
