Volzhsky Bearing Plant JSC has received a certificate of quality management system compliance with the requirements of International Automobile Standard ISO/TS 16949:2002.
TÜV Rheinland experts conducted a certification audit of VPZ's quality management system in June 2008. The audit analyzed VPZ's performance results for 2007 and checked its infrastructure management system, as well as the status of structural management processes, such as business planning, personnel management and document flow. In addition, TÜV Rheinland specialists assessed VPZ's incoming metal control, lathe machining, heat treatment and grinding, as well as other current enterprise processes and the state of documentation. The production processes of the Cages Production Workshop, Rollers Production Workshop and PAB Sections of the Turning and Blank Production Workshop were thoroughly inspected.
All production processes were acknowledged compliant with the requirements of the strict European standard specified for producers of automobile components. Today, Volzhsky Bearing Plant has been supplying products for such companies as Daimler, BPW, GKN.
