Mr. Detlef Sieverdingbeck became Head of Corporate Communication at the Schaeffler Group on June 1, 2008. He is responsible for internal and external communication of all brands that are part of the Schaeffler Group worldwide. The main brands of the Schaeffler Group are INA, FAG and LuK. Mr. Sieverdingbeck will report directly to the President and CEO of the Schaeffler Group, Dr. Juergen Geissinger.

Mr. Sieverdingbeck, who is a trained editor, started his career at the “Bild Zeitung” and was later a correspondent at “Focus” magazine before he started working in corporate communication. He was Head of Media and Product Information at FAG Kugelfischer in Schweinfurt, and more recently, he was responsible for specialist communication at the Industrial Division of the Schaeffler Group. The 40-year old then commenced working at Mueller Weingarten AG as Head of the Corporate Communication sector.

In his new function as Head of Corporate Communication at the Schaeffler Group he is successor to Mr. Gerhard Zaiss, who held this position for five years. Mr. Zaiss has left the company in order to take on a new direction in his career.
