This rich heritage puts the partnership in a unique position to design, develop and manufacture special custom drive assemblies to suit specific application needs.
At its 15,000 m2 manufacturing plant in Eisenbach, Germany, Framo has every facility for cost-effective design, prototyping and production. Drive systems can be manufactured in virtually any material required, both metallic and non-metallic. The company also provides heat treatment of metals to specification.
Examples of successful custom drive projects are many and various. They include lawn mower gearboxes, gear train drives for floor polishing machines, actuator units for tractor implements, caravan manoeuvring devices and complete drive systems for stairlifts.
