Mississauga, ON -- RotoPrecision Inc., a Canadian based supplier of precision bearings, linear shafting, specialty lubricants, specialty fasteners and mechanical power transmission products, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2008.
Founded in 1958 on a line of precision bearings and an idea that industry would be better served from local support centres, RotoPrecision has evolved into a company dedicated to supplying a broad range of precision products and customer service to a growing network of international customers.
"These past 50 years have shown a tremendous development and evolution of the business, not only within Canada, but increasingly on a global scale," commented Gregg Robinson, president of Canadian Operations. "We look forward to further developing our global presence to facilitate our growth and enhance our product mix."
The company currently has branch offices and stocking locations in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, as well as manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. From these locations, the company provides specialty-design capabilities in a variety of precision engineered components, including miniature, instrument and machine tool bearings, precision linear motion products, speed reducers, retaining rings, wave springs and more.
A series of events have been planned throughout 2008 to honour "Fifty Years in Motion."
