A local leader and highly respected power transmission distribution company that opened its doors in 1976, Houston Bearing & Supply Co. Inc. has today doubled its product line and celebrates unprecedented growth - emerging from the struggling oil and gas market of recent years stronger than ever.

The company, which serves a variety of needs ranging from engineering assistance to sales, began with a single product line, Browning, and today offers customers McGill and Sealmaster products as well.

The new Sealmaster rod end line of bearings alone meets a broad range of needs -- from self-lubricating book binding and carton folding, to packaging and printing material handling, and linkages on hoists, cranes and hydraulic cylinders with the "precision" and "heavy duty" models.

Along with Sealmaster mounted bearings and rod ends and McGill sealed spherical roller bearings and cagerol needle bearings, Houston Bearing & Supply Co. has also recently become a full line Emerson Power Transmission, EPT, distributor.
