Bimetal Bearings Board to Consider Final Dividend

A meeting of the board of directors of Bimetal Bearings (Q, N,C,F)* will be held on Jun. 13, 2007 to consider the payment of final dividend for the year ended on that date and take on record the audited results referable to the financial year ended Mar. 31, 2007.

Bimetal Bearings is engaged in the manufacture of thin walled bearings, bushings and thrustwashers, bimetallic strips and alloy powders and has substantial shares in both OEM and replacement markets. The company serves the engine bearing market. It supplies to the automobiles industry, tractors and defence sector.

Shares of the company closed down Rs 0.25, or 0.11%, at Rs 227.10. Total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 450.
