SKF TMTL 500-ThermoLaser For Accurate Aiming And Temperature Measurement(Pic)

SKF, a global leader in bearing technology and related products, offer the TMTL 500 ThermoLaser that has an infrared detector for temperature measurement and a class II laser beam for accurate aiming.

The TMTL 500-ThermoLaser is an extremely user-friendly device - simply aim, pull the trigger and read the temperature on the large backlit display. Measuring temperature is an easy, quick and safe process as there is no contact with hot surfaces or moving parts.

SKF’s TMTL 500-ThermoLaser uses infrared (IR) technology to measure the temperature and the laser beam is used for aiming purposes only. The ThermoLaser allows temperature measurement where contact with a conventional temperature probe should be avoided to prevent surface contamination, making it ideal for use in measuring temperature in food processing applications.

The optics of the TMTL 500 sense emitted, reflected and transmitted energy is collected and focused onto a detector. Information is collected and translated by the ThermoLaser’s electronics into a temperature reading, which is switchable in degrees Celsius and displayed on the unit.

Weighing only 180 g, SKF’s TMTL 500-ThermoLaser is a basic instrument with fixed emissivity of 0,95 and is supplied complete with batteries and operating instructions. The two AAA alkaline type batteries last up to 18 hours and the instrument switches off after 15 seconds of the trigger being released.
