SKF® CAT21 electromechanical linear actuators utilize modular design and standard internal and external components (such as motors, screws, and attachments) to enable cost-effective and easy customization. Users gain the capability to satisfy medical and industrial application requirements quickly and reliably without a need for specially engineered parts or assemblies.
SKF CAT21 actuators can be engineered for a wide range of medical and industrial equipment to perform a variety of functions, including opening/closing, clamping/gripping, raising/lowering, or pushing/pulling. They are compact (ideal for space-limited applications), corrosion-resistant, and maintenance-free for reliable operation in countless repetitive-motion devices.
These actuators feature high dynamic load capacities (600N) and low energy consumption, while running silently and efficiently over their full load range. Stroke lengths range from 50mm to 300mm and speeds of 10-5mm/sec can be achieved.
Custom or optional components include front and rear attachments; ambidextrous motor mounting; custom wiring; lead screws and nut combinations; adjustable position sensor switches; and encoders, among others. Full application support is available.
