Do you remember with SKF mobile water purification unit? Well, that was a part of SKF relief for tsunami victims in Aceh, which was handed to the army in February (see 2005-2-7 news). We are not going to stop there. SKF Indonesia will continue to help them.

Along with Astra Honda Motor (AHM), one of our big customer, and other Honda’s supplier and distributors, SKF Indonesia, once again, took part in AHM relief package for Aceh. We plan to build PUSKESMAS (Local Society Health Center that will run by local government) in Lampulo village - Kuta Alam - Banda Aceh.

This relief worth 4,7 MIDR, which will be realized as 2-floors building (772 m2) on 400 m2 land, equipped by standard medical equipment, one operational motorcycle and ambulance. The building will also has clinic for general treatment and birth service.

On Dec 22, 2005, delegation from AHM and partners (including SKF), officially launch this project right on the spot. We hope this PUSKESMAS will be a model for another one.

Once again we proved that SKF is not only a preferred company for customers, but also for the society.
