Beekeepers, vintners rediscover nectar of the gods

Once known as God's nectar, the oldest fermented beverage is seeing a revival.
Beekeepers and vintners are rediscovering honey wine, honey and water fermented alcoholic beverages. These days, fruits, spices, and even carbonation is being done for different tastes, is not far from the medieval ages beverages.
U.S. Mead Manufacturers Association president Chris Webber estimates there are 200 to 250 commercial mead makers in the United States, up from just 100 five years ago.
Some beekeepers origin mead maker hope to find other ways to sell their honey. Other craft brewers to produce their own turn to get involved now some mead honey bee producers.
Vermont's meadery called Artesano opened in 2008, and said that it sells 20,000 bottles a year.
