Japanese government must support in its efforts to curb buildups facilities and radioactive water leaking Fukushima nuclear power plant operators, senior government spokesman said on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (Shinzo Abe) will be ordered to the government later in the day, in order to strengthen its capacity to respond to curb water use, shall He Liangying said Chief Cabinet Secretary said the government would intervene directly against the worsening problem.
"It is necessary for the country to come forward and fight to stop the leak into the ocean contaminated groundwater, Tokyo Electric Power Co., Ltd. to provide technical support," Suga reporters at a regular press conference.
Shinzo Abe, at a meeting of the government's nuclear disaster task force, will instruct the Trade and Industry Minister Toshimitsu Motegi "take prompt measures" issue, Suga said.
Motegi Ministry is considering requesting budget funds, to solve the water problem, he added. A government official told Reuters on Wednesday that the Department has requested funding to help solve the water problem.
