Limit the export list also includes New York and Virginia from the product, plus certain items from Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Texas, according to the date of slaughter of birds.
Arkansas is the country's second largest poultry producer, second only to Georgia. China also prevented imports prior to the bird flu concerns.
"All the poultry and poultry product shipments from July 22, 2013 or after Arkansas, is substandard exports (China)," U.S. Department of Agriculture said on Monday in the food safety website notice.
U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service said that Japan banned the import of Arkansas with effect from 20 June; trade publications reported that Russia also banned birds and livestock officials mistakenly told state lawmakers last month, China Mobile has banned the export.
