JP Morgan Chase & Co. is the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) accused the bank manipulated energy markets in California and the Midwest $ 41 billion U.S. dollars of the settlement, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The newspaper also quoted people familiar with the issue, on Sunday said the bank will give up power buyers in California $ 20 billion in outstanding claims.
Settlement is not expected to result in three JP Morgan energy traders initial target by a regulatory body or their boss, chief commodities Blythe Masters sanctions.
