Vermont's biggest power companies and four universities signed a cooperation agreement, in the energy innovation program.
Rutland county four schools - castle college of st. Joseph's states, community colleges, green mountain college in vermont - said they hope the deal will be good for them and the region's economy.
The program will focus on the energy innovation centre in the green mountain electric company Rutland.
This will include staff in the center of the professor from energy center in colleges and universities, internships, job shadowing and other aspects of colleges and universities, lectures and demonstrations.
