Gm's European opel unit said it would start to assemble cars in belarus, Russia and other eastern market next year.
Opel is headquartered in Germany, said gm signed an agreement on Thursday, in unison with belarus partners facilities JianSheKe model. Cars will be sold to Russia, kazakhstan and belarus.
Opel, said the plan is to produce 7000 vehicles in the first year. They will be assembled, Hector, and zaragoza, Spain, Germany send packages from plants.
Senior opel President Peter thom says the idea is to "build where we sell" and growing market with a ready-made assembly suite that will mean more business plant in Western Europe.
This agreement is valid until 2017.
