Speaking in Tokyo with Japanese business representatives at the meeting, Hollande said France's goal is to sell more products to China, but need to have clear ground rules and more cooperation on both sides.
"We need to cooperate with China to develop our economy, but also defines the rules, principles, and to open up new areas of cooperation," Hollande said.
"We need to resolve our trade issues with China, through discussion, there is no advantage of one country in another."

Now tit-tat dispute will spread to the automotive industry also worry. European car industry association official said on Friday Beijing might consider luxury cars imported from the EU complaint.
"I hope China to buy more French products," Hollande said. "This is our more competitive, to persuade China can have reciprocity."
