Five Rwandan genocide, killing 800,000 people in just 100 days, was arrested in Britain on Thursday after being accused of an extradition request from Rwanda to participate.
Emmanuel 恩特齐里亚 about Cha 尔斯穆尼亚 inside the bar, Celestin Ugirashebuja, Vincent Bajinya and Celestin Mutabaruka appeared in a London court accused of genocide and murder under the extradition warrant, the police spokesman said.
Four or five were released in 2009, the High Court overturned the minister's extradition order, for fear they will not get a fair trial in Rwanda. Since 2006, they have been in custody.
In the 100 days of the massacre in 1994, 800,000 minority Tutsis and politically moderate Hutus were killed.
Rwandan Prosecutor General 马丁恩戈加 welcomed the arrest, occurred early Thursday and said he hoped London would follow other jurisdictions extradition suspects.
"They are against the genocide of Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994 and crimes against humanity committed by the suspect ... Rwanda has made remarkable progress since 2009, the British court refused to extradite Rwanda's request," he said.
Five people are due to appear again on June 5 at Westminster Magistrates Court.
