Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a police officer shot dead on Thursday night in the school's Cambridge campus, contact chase after the bombing of the Community edge for a few days of the Boston Marathon.

It is not clear if the police in Watertown activity related shooting at MIT, or if connected to the bombing of the Boston Marathon, three people were killed and 176 people were injured.
David Procopio, Massachusetts State Police spokesman said, although he does not believe the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's shot was connected to the Boston Marathon bombing, "I can not say with 100% certainty at this time."
Said on Friday, the the early Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT Police have identified the suspect in the shooting is no longer on campus, and now it is safe to resume normal activities. The Massachusetts State Police and Cambridge police say they are to assist in the investigation.
Procopio said, do not know the motive for the shooting and the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office investigation will be the death of the officer.
