At least 11 people were killed and dozens injured Monday's explosion hit cities in Iraq, including a number of attacks in Baghdad, a suicide bomber targeted a police checkpoint in a car, authorities said.
Attacks in the capital in Kirkuk, Tuz Khurmato and Samarra, north and south of Nasiriyah, came days before Iraqis vote test, the U.S. military to leave the country political stability in provincial elections .
