Investigators probe jet's crash into sea in Bali

Investigation to determine what causes a new Lion Air passenger plane crashed into the sea missed the runway and off the Indonesian resort of Bali, in 11 years of an expanding budget airline sixth accident.
All 108 people on board survived Saturday's crash, how safe it is to fly to Indonesia a contract extension. The countries have been efforts to improve the supervision and clean up its air safety record is poor.
The U.S. National Transportation Safety Board said on Sunday sent a team to assist Indonesia's survey, design and manufacturing teams in the United States since the crash of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft will include the Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing consultant.
The flight data recorder has been removed from the aircraft and aviation authorities plan to drag the aircraft on the beach, a spokesman for the Ministry of Ban Bang Ervan. Snapped up half of the plane crash near the airport, in shallow water, divers are looking for in the tail of the cockpit voice recorder to rest.
Wind shear is being considered by the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Board in the investigation of one of the possible causes.
At the time of the crash, the weather is rainy clouds, Lion Air spokesman Edward Sirait said. The pilot and co-pilot have been grounded health tests and answer survey questions.
Tour, some of the survivors from the wreckage, and other rubber boats rescue workers were plucked from the water. Dozens plagued by injuries, but most of the hospital on Sunday has been released.
Irawati recalls, "who uses one name, like many Indonesians, a 60-year-old woman:" I can not wait to land in Bali, the cabin suddenly turned dark, I heard a sound like an explosion and water.
"I hear people frantically shouting:" plane crash! Get out of here! Get out of here! "I do not even some of the energy to move my body," she said. "I was so weak and afraid, I asked a flight attendant to help before I passed."
Irawati told The Associated Press from her hospital bed, when she regained consciousness, the pilot and co-pilot life jackets her, and help her rubber ladder. Then she was pulled to the rescue workers on the surfboard. She suffered a neck injury.
Another survivor, Andy Prasetyo, said there is no problem warning.
Cabin crew have been announced, we will be landing in the short term, I was excited when I saw the ocean getting closer, but suddenly fell, "he said. "I can not believe that the plane landed on the sea, everything changed for the dark, which is filled with a scream of terror did not we think of our life jacket under the seat, everyone rushed to the plane."
The flight originated in the capital of West Java, Bandung, carrying 101 passengers and seven crew members. The three passengers were foreigners, two Singaporeans and a French minor injuries.
Lion Air spokesman Edward Sirait said the plane crashed about 50 meters (164 feet) runway. Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft have been received by the airline last month announced airworthiness, he said, it landed in the other two cities on Saturday before the crash.
Sydney-based aviation expert Tom Ballantyne said, because the aircraft is new, technical or mechanical problems, it seems unlikely. He said it was lucky that the plane landed in shallow water, rather than nose diving or playing deep water, it may soon be submerged flat.
"I was surprised, the aircraft split in two after the impact," he said, estimates may be traveling close to 300 miles per hour (483 km).
It access to land, hit the water, very hard, it's a miracle no one was killed, "Ballantyne said.
It is unclear whether human error is a factor, Sirait said, the pilot experience, recorded 10,000 flight hours. However, the Indonesian aviation analyst Ruth Simatupang, former U.S. National Transportation Safety Board investigation, the suspect some kind of miscarriage of justice, involving landing.
"Something is obviously wrong pilot wind shear is a possibility, it may result in unstable," she said. Sudden changes in wind speed or direction, can be lifted or crushed to the ground the aircraft during landing.
The pilot and co-pilot test will be grounded for two weeks, to ensure their health during the flight and questioned the investigation. They also alcohol and drug testing, and achieved initial results were negative, seedlings Bakti Gumay, Ministry of Transportation officials at a news conference Sunday. In the past two years, three pilots, a co-pilot and a flight attendant from Lion Air has been arrested for illegal drug use.
The airline said it plans intact suck the rest of the fuel tanks in the wings traction before high tide in order to avoid the destruction of the region's coral reefs. Bali is one of the most popular destinations in Asia, its world-class surf and beautiful beaches draw millions of vacationers.
Lion Air is Indonesia's rapidly expanding top discount airlines, holding about 45% market share, to see a prosperous economic growth and air travel in the country of 240 million people, a huge archipelago. The airline has been involved in six accidents since 2002, four of which involved a Boeing 737 aircraft, resulting in 25 deaths, according to the Aviation Safety Network website.
Lion Air is currently banned from flying to Europe, due to the broader security mistakes plagued the country in the long-term of the aviation industry in Indonesia. Last year, a Russian-made Sukhoi Superjet 100 crashed into the the volcano flight demonstration process, killing all 45 people on board.
Indonesia is one of Asia's most rapidly expanding aviation market, but are striving to provide qualified pilots, mechanics, air traffic controllers and airport technology updates to ensure safety.
A private company, started flying in 2000, Lion Air last month signed a $ 2.4 billion deal to buy 234 Airbus passenger aircraft, the largest ever for an order of the French aircraft manufacturer. It also gives Boeing's largest-ever order, when it completed a transaction, compared to 230 aircraft. This aircraft will be delivered from 2014 to 2026, the airline has positioned itself, AirAsia, which dominates the budget travel in the region.
