Itar reported on July 12, the world's largest titanium manufacturer - horse titanium magnesium joint venture has recently signed with the China Commercial Aircraft Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. a ten-year supply contract, for the latter development of the C919 aircraft titanium stampings. It is reported that the two companies co-operation in the initial phase of the C919 project has started.

 
The long-term contracts signed by the two companies, Avisma titanium magnesium joint venture will be responsible for the production of C919 required a large number of titanium stampings. In addition, the two sides also discussed the feasibility of finishing these parts. The validity of the contract will continue until December 2021.

Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the China Commercial Aircraft Company aircraft assembly and production center, to undertake the final work of the C919-type wide-body aircraft and regional jet ARJ-21's.
