Transit officials warned that the San Francisco Bay Area commuter train workers may strike on the second day, and urged drivers to find alternative transportation programs.
Bay Area Rapid Transit agency said Monday night, there had been with its two largest trade union in labor negotiations did not progress.
BART service suspended after the expiration of the current labor contract, Mon Sun did not reach consensus on the new terms.
Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1555 Antonette said Brian MRT did not reach them since Sunday, it is expected that the next day's strike.
Workers in the next three years to increase by 5%. BART provides over 4 1% per year in salary.
BART also to raise health insurance premiums, and workers pay pensions.
