U.S. drone kills Pakistan Taliban No 2

U.S. drone strike Pakistan Taliban in North Waziristan killed on the 2nd last Wednesday, three security officials said that this would be a major blow to the militant.
Drone strike killed seven people, Pakistani security officials said, including Taliban Deputy Commander Valley - Rahman, the first such attack since May 11 elections, the use of drones is a major problems.
This is the first reported U.S. drone strikes since U.S. President Barack Obama announced last week that the United States reduce UAV program.
Valli - Rahman is ready to take over the Pakistani Taliban leader Mehsud in the South Waziristan region of a military officer based Hakimullah, said in December.
"This is a huge blow in the fight against insurgent militants and a victory," a security official told Reuters reporters.
Pakistani Taliban, Afghan Taliban alliance is an independent entity. Known as Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan, they have been on Pakistan's military and civilian launch devastating attacks.
The White House said Wali - Rahman was wanted for killing of al-Qaeda triple agent forward operating base in Afghanistan in 2009, Chapman's suicide bomb attack, seven CIA employees and a Jordanian intelligence officer. The attack was featured in the movie "Zero Dark 30" on Osama bin Laden hunt.
White House spokesman Jay Carney said: "The Pakistani Taliban leaders" to participate in cross-border against U.S. and NATO personnel and terrorist attacks Pakistani civilians and soldiers in Afghanistan to launch attacks.
Practices in line with the White House, not to discuss drone attacks, Carney said he could not confirm killed. But even in his news conference to discuss the White House unmanned policy is an unusual level of openness.
Obama said in a speech last week that the U.S. will use only those drone attacks threatened, "sustained and imminent," a subtle change from the previous policy of launching a major threat to blow.
According to the new presidential guidance, rather than the CIA, the Defense Department will take the lead in launching deadly drones, but is now expected to continue to run the CIA drones in Pakistan.
Scaling back
Obama announced scaling back drone attack in North Waziristan drone aircraft armed with missiles against militants in the past seven years, sometimes with a large number of civilian casualties, the people generally welcomed.
Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ihsan told Reuters Ihsanullah Group did not "confirm the report," Wali - Rahman had been killed. He declined to comment further.
Drone casualties is difficult to verify. Foreign correspondents must have permission from the military to visit along the Pashtun tribal areas along the Afghan border.
Taliban militants immediately so often blocked websites drone attacks on Pakistani reporters can not see the victims.
"The Taliban remain silent, neither deny or confirm the news is in itself unique," Safi Salim said that the Pakistani expert on the Taliban. "But if this is true, then the United States thanked the Pakistani army."
Security officials and the Northwest Territories Pashtun said drone fired two missiles struck at Chashma village, 3 km (2 miles) east of Miranshah, the region's chief town of mud built houses.
They said seven people were killed and four people were injured.
"Tribal started rescue work for an hour after the attacks, and to restore the seven bodies, said:" The residents of al-Bashir DAWAR. "The body was badly damaged beyond recognition."
Pakistani government has not confirmed Valli - Rahman's death.
A U.S. drone killed Pakistani Taliban commander Mehsud in 2009. There have been some reports, Ha Sude, his successor, was killed in the same way, but they proved to be untrue.
But Pakistan's Foreign Ministry reiterated its condemnation (Wednesday) in the general UAVs.
"The government has always maintained that drone attacks counterproductive, bringing the loss of life of innocent civilians, there are human rights and humanitarian impact of infringement of national sovereignty, territorial integrity and the principles of international law," it said.
North Waziristan is the border with Afghanistan, has long been a stronghold of militants, including the Afghan Taliban and the "base" organization and the Pakistani Taliban allies.
Elected prime minister Nawaz Sharif said that this month, the unmanned aircraft attacked a Pakistani sovereignty challenges.
"Our American friends, we will sit together, they talk about this issue," he said.
Strike also coincided with former NWFP Khyber - Pakhtunkhwa, the newly elected provincial council first.
Former Pakistani cricketer Imran Khan's independence movement-E-Insaf Party won the majority of seats in parliament, and condemned the strike, saying Obama has returned to his words.
