Hip-Hop Dr. Hendricks - real name Andre Young - and the music industry entrepreneur Jimmy Iovine has donated a total of $ 700,000 to create a new institute at the University of Southern California.
University of Southern California announced Tuesday night, a huge gift will be used to create Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young School of art, technology and business innovation.
The college will offer a four-year plan, whose interests span multiple areas of marketing, computer science to the arts undergraduate. This will include a teachers guide and interactive entertainment industry celebrities.
Iovine of Interscope Records founder, chairman of Interscope Geffen A & M University and mentor "American Idol."
Dr. Dre is best known as a producer and solo rapper has its own label, Aftermath Entertainment.
