Galaxy Bearings said a small rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended June 2013. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 7.45% to Rs 7.07 million from Rs 6.58 million in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter jumped 55.08% to Rs 96.24 million, compared with Rs 62 million for the prior year period.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 2.23, registering 8.25% growth over previous year period.
