Radco Industries recently opened a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Batavia, Ill., which will significantly expand the company's heat-transfer fluid manufacturing capacity and provide more than 4,800 square feet of additional office space.
The new location is within the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor, which is one of the principal economic zones in suburban Chicago and home to many companies specializing in research, development, logistics and technology. The Radco facility is situated in a modern industrial park that provides easy access to rail and interstate highways, in addition to a municipally supported, high-capacity electric utility vital to the company's manufacturing processes.
Batavia mayor Jeff Schielke and chamber of commerce executive director Roger Breisch joined Radco CEO Michael Damiani in a ribbon-cutting ceremony commemorating the official opening of the facility. Radco employees and their families, customers and vendors as well as a number of city, county, state and national representatives were also on hand for the celebration.
"The new Batavia headquarters and manufacturing facility marks another important milestone in Radco Industries' growth," Damiani said. "The move helps position us to take advantage of expanding domestic and global opportunities, and we appreciate the valuable assistance and warm welcome we've received from the city of Batavia and the chamber of commerce."
A manufacturer of specialty fluids and lubricants for the military, industrial/energy and solar markets, Radco also has facilities in nearby LaFox, Ill., which will continue to produce Radcolube military products.
