Lockdowel, Inc, a leading innovator of hardware fasteners, Tuesday announced that the company will be showcasing its new fastener line and previewing selected applications including its new drawer slides and back panel fasteners at the AWFS Fair show in Las Vegas, Nevada July 24-27, 2013. The snap-lock system drastically reduces assembly time over current conventional hardware. Furniture manufactured with Lockdowel products require no tools or lengthy instruction manuals. The furniture is sturdy, has no visible joints and has the look and feel of being factory assembled.
Lockdowel will be introducing, for the first time, its newest mono-glide drawer slides and back panel fasteners. With the same snap-lock system as its fasteners, drawer slides can be installed in less than a minute. Drawer slides have up to 200lb load capacity in fully-extended position, and come in sizes ranging from 12 to 24 inches. The new back panel fastener systems will feature an all plastic, push in fastener that replaces finishing nails and screws.
"The use of Lockdowel fasteners reduces assembly time by up to 80%," said Fred Koelling, CEO of Lockdowel, Inc. "Our new patent pending technology was developed to solve the decades old problem of time consuming and difficult assembly using conventional screws, nails and cam lock fasteners. Case good manufacturers are now shipping flat pack from factories in Asia, assembling at the point of sale and experience five to six times reduction in shipping costs. "
Lockdowel will be demonstrating this new technology in booth #6000. For more information visit our website at http://www.lockdowel.com or contact one of our sales associates at (650)-477-0313.
About the Lock Dowel Company
The Lock Dowel Company was founded in 2005 to produce and market a new line of "plug in" surf fins. In 2006, the company filed additional patent applications for a novel athletic shoe cleat system using the company's core intellectual property in its design. It was recognized that the same technology could significantly improve the methods used to assemble and connect furniture with greater simplicity and tremendous joint strength for use in the furniture market. The company continues to develop new connection technologies for many targeted industries where the technology adds value by increasing functionality and reducing assembly costs.
