For manufacturers of railway equipment, rail experts and finally fans of rail traffic June means traditionally the month, which is marked by regular meetings at the trade fair Czech Raildays in Ostrava. The trade fair, which opened its doors for the 14th time this year, was held on June 18 - 20, 2013.
The trade fair, which is organized under the auspices of the Minister of Transport and Deputy of Mayor of Ostrava, is traditionally attended by ZKL Group. Among 170 exhibitors ZKL Group presented many exhibits that satisfy even the most demanding customers in this important industry.
Visitors of ZKL stand were impressed with a demonstration of ZKL bearing mounting in new design PLC-810 13.B.1 intended for use at higher speeds. Deliveries to the leading Czech manufacturer Škoda Transportation are another important project for ZKL.
New bearings of series PLC 810-15 has been developed for this the company. We are talking about a hosed double row tapered roller unit, sealed with rubber touch seal. The bearing serves as the axle and there are high demands in terms of lifetime up to the first service interval. The first bearings of this type will be mounted on trams which will be delivered to Konya -Turkish city.
