Schaeffler UK has released its new technical training course programme for 2013. Courses offered include one, two and three-day training for managers, engineers and technicians involved in the selection, operation and maintenance of rolling bearings, as well as condition monitoring, vibration analysis and mounting of rolling bearings.
Training courses are held either at Schaeffler UK’s Sutton Coldfield training centre or on-site at the customer and can be tailored to meet their individual requirements. The centre is equipped to provide both classroom-based and practical hands-on training courses for customers from every industry sector.
Schaeffler UK offers a broad mix of training courses at basic and advanced levels to suit all delegates. Courses include: introduction to rolling bearings; rolling bearing technology; introduction to bearing lubrication; bearing failure analysis; mounting of bearings; bearings for electric motors; condition monitoring; vibration analysis (Levels 1 and 2); and FAG Detector III (Schaeffler’s handheld vibration monitoring device).
Customer feedback has been very positive. Following her recent experience on a customised ‘Rolling Bearing Technology’ training course held at Schaeffler’s Sutton Coldfield site in December 2012, Pamela Phillips, asset engineer at electricity and gas company SSE plc commented: “This is one of the best courses I have attended. I found the amount of technical information extremely useful… the course content was very interesting… and I appreciated the amount of effort taken to put this together.”
Martin Frost, asset engineer at SSE plc agreed: “A very good training course overall. I was particularly impressed by the knowledge and experience of the course presenters.”
